Ans. 1 ‘I’ is a child in the poem.

Ans. 2 The man was going to the village.

Q 3. Why didn’t the child go with the Horse?

Ans. 3 The child didn’t go with the horse because it was going to get some hay.

Q 4. Why did the child go with the Puppy?

Ans. 4 The child goes with the puppy because it was going uphill to play.

Q 1. Do you have a pet?

Ans. 1 Yes, I have a pet cat.

Q 2. Talk about three things that you and your pet do together.

Ans. 2 We race together in the garden. We play together with a ball. We together go for a walk.

Q 3. How do you look after your pet? Tell the class first in your own language, and then in English.

Ans. 3 I feed my cat on time. Bathe her when she gets dirty. Give her medicine if she is not good. I try to keep her neat and clean. I like her very much.

German Shepherd:- I am a nice dog. My name is silky. I am a German shepherd. My name is Tommy. I am very playful. I like to run. I love children.

Doberman: I am a big one. My name is Deno. I am a Doberman. I like to bark loudly. I like to run fast and play with friends.
