Ans. 1 No, the Sultan did not enjoy the talk. He wanted to get rid of him. Therefore he gave him gold coin and food.

Q. 2. Which part of the story did you find the funniest?

Ans. 2 The Sultan was half shaved, and the barber inspecting the dishes was the funniest part of the story.

The funniest part of the story was when the barber stopped shaving and started to examine the dishes.

Q. 3. What are the things the Sultan gave to the Barber?

Ans.3 The Sultan gave him gold, lots of food, and fruits.

Q. 4. Do you think the Sultan was really very generous? Why do you say so?

Ans. 4  Yes, I think the Sultan was very generous. Because he gave everything to the barber to get his shave finished.

How does your father/uncle shave his face every day? He lathers his face with shaving cream, then he uses his razor. He runs it over his face, in even strokes. After this, he washes his face and wipes it to get rid of the lather.

Now describe two of the following processes.
 (i) How to send a letter/e-mail.

Buy an envelope from the post office. Write a letter and put it in the envelope. Seal the envelope and post it in the letterbox.

Connect to the internet and open browser. Go to Gmail site. Then sign in and type your email. Click on the post tab and its done.

(ii) How to make a salad.
Ans. Making of salad

Wash carrot, radish, and cucumber thoroughly. Cut them into small slices.  Place them on a plate. Add some salt and lemon juice to it. Now the salad is ready to be served.

(iii) How to prepare a garden bed to grow flowers.
Ans. Making of the garden bed

First of all, find a suitable place for a garden bed. Dig the place thoroughly to break up and loosen the soil. Mix compost in the soil. Then level it and sow seeds. After this cover the bed with fine soil. Water it daily. After some days you will find small plants in your garden bed.

(iv) How to paint a mural or a wall picture.
Ans. Painting a mural

First of all, choose best paint quality and color. After that go to the market and buy paint and brushes. Clean the surface of the wall first. Mix the paint well. Now apply the paint gently all over. Coat it twice and thrice if needed. Your wall has become beautiful now.
